Mario Alai

Associate Professor, University of Urbino Carlo Bo
My main topic is scientific realism. My working hypothesis is that some form of deployment realism can offer the best account of the status of theories, and can be defended against criticsms based on the history of science and others. Novel predictions have a key role in this, so their nature and the reasons for their advantage is also one of my interests
